Come tax time a number of banks and financial institutions offer a special discount for their customers. In fact, preferred customers may even be eligible for a free TurboTax Premier edition. So, how do you actually get the American Express TurboTax discount?
If an Amex TurboTax discount is available it will be through Amex Offers which provides card member benefits and rewards.
To get a discount on TurboTax through American Express, follow these steps:
- Visit Amex offers online here
- Log in to your account
- Click on “Offers” on the top nav
- Search for “TurboTax” or “taxes” in the search field at the top of the page
- If the Amex TurboTax discount is available, click on the TurboTax logo
- Use their affiliate link for up to a $20 discount on online products
It’s also possible that you may be notified of a Chase TurboTax offer by email or in a message within your account. This would most likely occur early in tax season, so keep your eyes out for a special Amex promotion for TurboTax, and be wary of phishing scams!
