More About the Quickbooks Trial Versions:
As you can see, there is no credit card required for the 30-day free trial from Intuit. That means that you won’t get an unexpected charge on your credit card unless you commit to buying Quickbooks during or after the free trial period.
If you like it, then enter your payment info. If not, cancel any time during the free trial. The software will stop working after the 30-day free trial period ends.
One Reason Not to Download the Free Version:
Like the free version of TurboTax, the Quickbooks free trial comes with one potential drawback. When you initially use a coupon and have the option to buy at up to a 50% discount or to use the free trial. If you choose to buy, you may get a better price than the purchase price after the free trial ends.
Because Quickbooks is a monthly subscription, that discount can end up being significant over the course the 3 or 6 month promotion. My advice is to only choose the free trial version if you are undecided. If you know that you want to use Quickbooks for at least 2 months, then jump on the chance to lock in the discount price!
